Easily update your SmartOrderLimit rules anytime—no need to create a new limit.
Steps
1. Open SmartOrderLimit
Go to Apps → SmartOrderLimit in your Shopify Admin.
2. Find the Limit
Navigate to the Dashboard.
Locate the limit you want to edit.
3. Edit the Limit
Click the More Options (three-dot) icon next to the limit.
Select Edit.
Update limit details, selected products, and limit conditions. (See the Configure the Order Limit section in Creating an Order Limit in SmartOrderLimit.)
You can enforce up to two limits at the same time.
4. Save Changes
Click Save or Save as Draft:
- Save – your changes are applied immediately on your storefront. If Activate Later is selected, the limit will remain inactive after saving. If Scheduled is selected, the status will become Scheduled.
- Save as Draft – your limit is saved as a draft; you can activate it later.
5. Verify
Add items to your cart to confirm the limits and warning messages are working correctly.
